We held a wrap-up party for the active learning program. After enjoying some craft beers at Yona Yona in Toranomon, we headed to Tamon’s Bar—because when you think of Toranomon, that’s the place. It was a wonderful evening spent soaking in a refined, grown-up atmosphere.

Claudia Daniela Montes-Ángeles from UNAM in Mexico visited us. Over the course of three weeks, she took part in experiments, attended lectures, and observed active learning sessions.

Following last year's event, we held the reunion of the Department of Pharmacology alumni, this time at the Tokyo Garden Palace Hotel. Very enjoyable gathering, with several former members who joined us after a long while.

The Department of Pharmacology Alumni Association meeting was held again this year, also serving as a tour of the new school building. At Good View Dining, while listening to updates from many seniors and juniors, we fully enjoyed the wonderful night view of Tokyo.

The Department of Pharmacology Alumni Association, which had been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was renamed the Alumni Association and held at the Palace Hotel. Many seniors and juniors gathered, and we were able to renew old friendships.
